Baptist Homes Society, established in 1910, operates as a Continuing Care Retirement Community with two campuses — Baptist Homes and Providence Point — both located in Pittsburgh’s South Hills. Whether you are seeking short-term services or decide to call us “home”, you’ll be part of a community that offers individualized care with many attractive senior living options across the spectrum of independent living, personal care, memory care, rehabilitation and healthcare services.
Baptist Homes Society is steadfastly committed to providing quality care and living options for seniors of all faiths. The not-for-profit organization was built upon a mission of benevolence and person-centered care. We offer active, progressive senior communities at our two locations. Like the seniors we serve, we are energetic, diverse and independent.
Our residents come to us at many different points in their lives. It is our commitment to provide the services and care they need so that they can live their best possible life. Together Baptist Homes and Providence Point serve more than 700 older adults—some who have called our Mt. Lebanon community “home” for more than 30 years. And, because it is their home, everyone who lives, works, volunteers, and partners with us is part of our family.
Baptist Homes offers independent living, personal care, skilled nursing, short- and long-term rehabilitation, and memory support services and is Medicare and Medicaid certified.
Providence Point, which recently celebrated its 10th anniversary, is recognized as Pittsburgh’s premier retirement community and is home to more than more than 500 active independent seniors, many who have taken advantage of our unique LifeCare contract. It also offers Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, and Personal Care/Memory Support services.
Baptist Homes Society employs approximately 650 staff and has more than 150 volunteers who share in our culture of respect, dignity and integrity.
